Christmas Adventure

Father Christmas hadn't put up his decorations.
"I've been too busy. It's the same every year," he said.
Father Christmas had no Christmas dinner.
"I didn't have time," he said. "Children want so many presents."

I read  Christmas Adventure, a book in the Oxford Reading Tree series.
It was Christmas Eve. Children were excited, but Christmas was hard work for their parents. The Parents wanted the children to help them, but the chilren didn't help them. And then, the magic key took the chilren to the land of Father Christmas. When they found he was too busy to enjoy his Christmas day, they were sorry for him and they helped putting up some decorations, making sandwiches...and so on. He was so happy. They enjoyed a party together. After they went back home, they help their parents.
It was a very heart-warming story.
