By and by, the real nightingale heard that the king was sick and flew to his window. There, he sang a song so sweet that the king was quickly healed.

Once upon a time, there was a king who lived in a beautiful palace. Behind the palace was a forest. In the forest lived a nightingale. The nightingale sang so sweetly that the king sent his servant to bring back the nightingale. And the nightingale came to the palace and sang and sang. The king buy a cage for the nightingale. By and by, the toy bird came from Japan. The king seemed to forget the real nightingale, and he flew back to the forest. Years passed and the king felt sick. The real heard that the king was sick and flew to his window. When he sang, the king was healed! And his sweet music brought joy to everyone in the palace forever more.
