Today, I read The Big Breakfast, a book in the oxford reading tree series. It was written by Roderick Hunt and Alex Brychta. A magic takes children back in time and they must be the new servants at a big house. They work hard and they are very tired. They think that was hard work, and then, they make their mother a surprise breakfast. I thought this story was very good because they can understand their mother's hardship. It is important for children to help with the household.
